After realising that many heroines have not yet joined the association, despite working in Telugu film industry. MAA has sent notifications to heroines like Trisha, Tamanna, Genelia, Nitya Menon and Samantha. In its notice MAA mentioned that these heroines have been given 15 days time to join the association and if they don’t comply before October 1st, they will not receive any kind of support or cooperation in the industry. To get the Life Membership in MAA, the actor/actress must have minimum of 3 releases in Telugu.

Om Books International has planned the launching event for which many big wigs from Bollywood will attend it. The launching event will also have the renowned film maker Maniratnam to do the honors. Nasreen Munni Kabir, who has made over 80 documentaries on indian cinema for Channel 4TV, UK, has writtenthis book. The author presents Rahman’s life journey, his music and pictures to give us all a reminder of the larger than life character that Rahman is. It took almost 3 years for Nasreen for gathering the information and then penning it. The book also has a CD with AR Rahman’s compositions (8 Tracks) for free distibution with the 1st edition.
